About Me
I believe leadership requires dedication
I am a husband, a father, a man of faith, a business owner and entrepreneur, and philanthropist. I have been married to my best friend for 25 years. We have three lovely adult children and care deeply for our community. In my work I have traveled all over America many times over. I have been fortunate to work with dynamic ministries, charitable organizations, wonderful nonprofits, churches, service institutions and many caring individuals. From volunteering in prisons, to serving the unhoused, to helping foodbanks, raising money for charities, organising and serving in small and large scale events and fundraisers to advocacy work and public speaking and even the TEDx stage, I have seen what helping others can do.
It requires integrity, selflessness, diligence, and caring. I have dedicated my life to helping others and I would like to continue doing so as the next City Commissioner of District 2 for Mt. Juliet.
I believe leadership requires putting others first
I believe my purpose in life is to love my neighbor. Not just the ones next door. Not just the ones that look and act like me, or the ones that think or believe like I do. All of them. I believe knowing where that ends is purposefully vague. I could waste my time trying to parse that out, or I could get to work, treat everyone I meet like my neighbor and do what I can where I can. I’m driven, organized, passionate and committed to that end.
I believe Mt. Juliet’s best days are ahead of it. Let’s rise up together and meet the moment!
